A heart with lace is made of two pieces of fabric and a long piece of lace. I got inspired by french decorations. The buttons are only for decorations.

Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
- Chain 10-15, turn.
- Crochet sc along the whole chain, on both sides of the chain by making one or two (enlargement) sc in the endings. This way yo will make the case a tube. See tutorial here.
- Crochet several rows single crochet with one color. In my case I made 5 rows.
- Then switch to another color and continue one row with that color.
- Switch back to base color and repeat the procedure.
- Weave in all ends.

Swedens Olympic gear 2010
Handmade copies of the crocheted winterhat which the Swedish Olympic team used in Vancouver 2010.
Blue and yellow are our national colours, but might not match with the rest of the wintergear you’re wearing, so why not change the colours for something else?
This one was ordered in white, black, grey and brown instead of the blue and yellow.

Shabby chic is becoming most popular decorating style in Sweden, here is an easy tip on how to make a makeover by hand.
A wood item is painted twice with a brown color, later one layer of white paint. Let it dry again and than scrub some of the white paint off so the item get an old, used look. Finally I used decoupage from a napkin to get some colour on the item.
