A cool but very simple nail art is to make a mustache, all you need are a dotting tool, a thin pointy tool and a fine art brush. For example you can use a pin and a tooth pick. Or you just use a nail art pen which can be found in places such as Walmart and Amazon.
This small design lamp on a small drawer can be found at Clas Ohlson (Sweden). It has a soft and yellow toned light and fits therefore perfectly to add to a cosy atmosphere in the walk in closet.

Get on going and crochet a modern granny blanket without doing the classic squares which have traditionally been used for blankets.
To get started, chain the width of the blanket.
Turn and *Ch 1, and make 3 dc. Repeat from* for the rest of the width.
Make the blanket as long as you wish.
I used many various colors, a perfect way to use up yarn that is left over from other projects.
The black yarn around the blanket was added after all the rows were done.

With the European November weather, grey skies and rain, I found that making autumn nail art with nail stamping was a delight. Grey matches lots of my autumn outfits. For some green nails I used OPI Thanks a Windmillion and white base from Depend.

When traveling I notice plenty of inspiring hotel rooms and lobbies around the world. More and more chains as well as boutique hotels are putting effort into creating a special space for their guests. Much such as cool hosts of Airbnb rentals are doing.

On a corner of a high sideboard I added some greens for colors.
The sideboard it self holds glasses and tablecloths and is placed close to a dining area.

A white and cute chest drawer with hand selected knobs stands in the walk in closet to hold folded items. The knobs vary, all collected at Zara Home a few years back. The color scheme in the walk in closet is gold so the knobs had to be gold(ish).

The sweetest footrest in soft Grey color was a perfect buy from Jotex and adds some flair to the room. With a golden tray untop of the footrest it can also be used as a mini table. I got a couple of these a year or so ago, they can still be found at Jotex.se (Swedish).

Thinking about publishing a place on Airbnb? Then there are e few things worth looking into before making the place available for guests.
A small studio can easily appear cramped since it does not have much space for un-necessary items and large furniture. Plan a little on how to style a studio for Airbnb stays, bear in mind that your potential guests are looking for either a home away from home or something that can be compared to a hotel room.
I am taking the opportunity to show my studio as an example of how a Studio fit for Airbnb guests could look.
Hide all items that are personal as well as any books, papers and other items that cannot be of use for the guests. These items just makes the place look messy. When it comes to interior designing small areas, always think:
Less is More
A bright place with daylight from large windows is a delight to decorate, but if a place does not receive much daylight I suggest having all walls white, or at leats very lightcolored.
In a Studio it can be quite difficult to separate the sleeping area from the living area since there is just one room to fit both. So why not try so build a thin wall or hang drapes from the ceiling as a room divider?
It is certainly easy to use drapes as a divider, thin drapes still spread the light of windows which can be essential for both comfort as well as for taking good images.
Make sure to offer a clean home and a clean bed. Check the matress and vacum clean it on a regular basis. Make the bed for your guests and have extra pillow, sheet and duvet available for them.
Also, keep the sofa clean. Yyou never know, someone might sleep in it.
If there is a table for dining of laptop-use I recommend showing this. Just as simple as by a photo like this one below.
Is can be a real challenge to portrait the, generally, small bathroom in photos so I suggest that you at least take a photo of fresh towels and/or of shower cream/shampoo bottles you might offer in the shower or bath. This indicates the level of standard of your place and services.
In this small studio apartment the challanges are many and one thing I find a bit boring is having the wall plain by the head of the bed. So, due to small budget, I came up with the idea to paint the area around the beds head area in another color than the wall and voila!
There is now something happening by the bed area. To top it of I put an Ikea picture list/shelf (such as Mosslanda) on top for keeping small thing above the bed.
I made hanging bed light consisting of just a cord and a large glass lamp (E27) hanging of a bracket beside this headboard. Super Simple!
